Is it really necessary to make such a fuss? Senseless murders are nothing new to the City, more so an everyday routine. Only when it hits a peak, do people seem actually muster up the effort to give a damn. However, whining or crying will do nothing to change the matter, nor will trying to play the hand of justice out to fix society.

Grow up.

[ooc: Hei hasn't had one of his Contractor moments in awhile, sooo - here you go. Was also affected by yesterday's curse, so foul mood is very much foul.]

Hei.
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:15 am (UTC)
You should be sleeping. It's late.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:17 am (UTC)
I'm not tired.

The people here aren't the same as us, are they?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:28 am (UTC)
Maki and November are the only others.

tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:30 am (UTC)
November...? Neither are from the war, are they?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:37 am (UTC)
I don't know if November was, but Maki is definitely a no.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:51 am (UTC)
Are contractors still a secret?
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: Look to the sidecontractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:52 am (UTC)
...Not anymore.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:53 am (UTC)
Hmm... That's good then, I suppose. How was it taken?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:55 am (UTC)
A moratorium turned part of the City into a barbecue, catching various citizens in the midst.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:56 am (UTC)
Were they angry?
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: I walk alongcontractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:58 am (UTC)
They wonder why we the other Contractors didn't help 'one of their one.'
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 10:59 am (UTC)
There is no camaraderie between most contractors. They don't understand, then?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:01 am (UTC)
They didn't know. It's all right now - it's been awhile since then.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:11 am (UTC)
There must be a lot of stranger things, here.
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:17 am (UTC)
Vampires, Demons, Wizards, Souls...
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:26 am (UTC)
It's like a story, isn't it? A fairy tale.
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: Curiositycontractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:27 am (UTC)
Fairy tales have happy endings.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:28 am (UTC)
This story hasn't ended yet though, has it?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:29 am (UTC)
...It hasn't.

And the story is looking up for me.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:30 am (UTC)
It might still be happy. I've read that some people go "home". To their... world.
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: Solitudecontractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:31 am (UTC)
Would that really be happy ending?
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:32 am (UTC)
For some people, maybe. I don't know.

You wouldn't want to go home?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:33 am (UTC)
I'm fine here.
tentaikansoku on June 1st, 2008 11:34 am (UTC)
Then I am, too.
fromthewell on June 1st, 2008 10:25 am (UTC)
WELL HELLO THERE
Really, now?
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:29 am (UTC)
OH SHI-
Yes.
fromthewell on June 1st, 2008 10:29 am (UTC)
Does that mean you're going to continue killing others?

Humans function solely on emotions, did you expect any less?
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: Apatheticcontractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:36 am (UTC)
When necessity calls.

...There comes a point where even humans have to learn to not be so vulnerable.

There are many reasons.
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:47 am (UTC)
For the sake of one's ego, or the glory of being adorned a hero? Because of naivety?
Isaak Fernand von Kämpfer//Panzermagier: Red red wineordenmagier on June 1st, 2008 10:50 am (UTC)
You are very passionate about this subject, I see.
Hei ☆ [BK-201]: I walk alongcontractorly on June 1st, 2008 10:52 am (UTC)
I wouldn't call it passion.

Your mind flits to justice when you're suffering from boredom? Interesting.
contractorly on June 1st, 2008 11:16 am (UTC)
An incorrect assumption. It's arbitrary, only this time it seems to have landed on the City's topic of the week.
Maki: Maki - remunerationhandprinting on June 1st, 2008 11:59 am (UTC)
They used to make a fuss over things like that back home too.

I don't understand.

It shouldn't be everyday routine, Hei!

How can you be so damn dismissive of this! Life is not just something that if it's taken away should be shrugged at - it's priceless and more important than anything else that a person has.

Telling people to grow up won't change anything, either.

How-- how can you treat it like it's something so trivial?!
so_very_greedy on June 1st, 2008 02:27 pm (UTC)
What bit your ass, sunshine?
Takasugi Shinsuke: quietoneeyedbeast on June 2nd, 2008 12:09 am (UTC)
A shame you held back the true nature of your strength. Even now, I still find it intriguing.
